Business Law and Civil Litigation

Jim had the opportunity of teaching Business Law at the Southern Technical Institute (now Kennesaw State University) for approximately 18 years. He thoroughly enjoyed introducing students to the legalities within the business environment and equipping them with certain basic skills to confront the legal issues facing today’s business owners.

Over the years, Jim has represented clients in the formation of countless corporations and LLC’s, as well as prepared their Partnership, Operating, Shareholder, and other business agreements pertaining to their specific entity. Along with the formation process, Jim also has substantial experience in handling business disputes, whether in the form of alternative dispute resolution, including Mediation, or through litigation before the State and Superior Courts.

Our firm also handles a myriad of other Civil cases involving Personal Injury, Right-to-Life, Collections, Real Estate disputes, etc. Realizing the financial and emotional cost that litigation can add to a dispute, our firm will work diligently to resolve a case in the most expedition and cost-effective manner possible. Although we certainly “know the way to the Courthouse,” our mindset is not to cause the client any more cost than necessary to effectively represent their interests.
